I had port 1723 and protocol 47 open already. For some reason, it wasn't applying the changes to the workstations. I had to switch profiles back and forth for the changes apply.

The problem is, when I try and connect, I am told the server is not responding. I also tried on my Ubuntu box, same problem. I did an nmap on my server on port 1723. This told me the port was closed. I put I realized I need to enable port forwarding.. which I tried, but it didn't work. For the service type I selected PPTP, and it automatically filled out the External Port & Internal Port with 1723, which from what I am told, is the port for PPTP VPN.
